Job Description

St George Logistics seeks a highly motivated individual with prior sales experience for the role of Business Development Executive. The position is responsible individual target/quota and generating a new business by engaging with Freight Forwarders and NVOCC's and their teams.

The Business Development Executive is expected to generate leads from new client relationships, engage those prospects by phone and sales visits, align St George solutions to customer needs, write compelling proposals and close new business for the organization.

This position will be assigned to our Atlanta facility and will cover the southeast.

Desired Skills and Experience:

The ideal candidate will come to St George with:
  • 2 to 5 years experience prospecting, qualifying, and selling professional and business services.
  • Proven track record meeting and exceeding sales quota in a complex sales environment.
  • Strong working knowledge of Air and Ocean Freight Forwarders and NVOCC's needs in a container Freight Station environment a plus.
  • Superior written and oral communication skills demonstrated at an executive level.
  • Demonstrated customer relationship management, organization and time management skills.
  • Self-motivated, competitive and upbeat attitude with a drive to succeed.
